Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Lab Technician for a well known industry leader!
This is an exciting opportunity to performs chemical, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

Follow test methods and verbal direction to perform testing requested by engineers

• Support product development engineers through physical property and optical testing/characterization, and sample prep.
• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods.
• Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred. Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.
• Record, analyze and report the sample properties/performance correctly and accurately.
  

Requirements

• Completed at least one (1) semester of a post high school degree program from an accredited college or university or two (2) years of experience as a technician in lieu of the above education requirements.
• AAS degree or bachelor’s degree or some college exposure plus work experience
• Applicant must be comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
