wikiHow is looking for a caring, curious, motivated, and productive person to help support our volunteer community. In this role, you will facilitate, guide, and encourage the efforts of the contributors worldwide who share advice to further our educational mission. This position will require you to collaborate with both staff members and community contributors to help the latter feel fulfilled and productive on our site, while finding win-win solutions to any issues that arise along the way. This is a full-time remote position (note travel requirements below).

This role is unique because you will:

- Be the point person for our whole volunteer community. Youll focus on helping our diverse community members contribute successfully to our wiki. Because of that wide reach, the impact of your work is immediate and sizable.

- Work with a small and talented team dedicated to our educational mission. Despite being one of the most popular sites on the web, wikiHow has only 25 employees. Youll collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and others to help make wikiHow a great platform for building and sharing information with our millions of visitors.

- Have access to valuable mentors. Youll be working shoulder to shoulder with a team of people who successfully built one of the most used sites on the internet. Youll learn a ton.

- You are able to travel to wikiHows Palo Alto office for regular visits. While working virtually can be great, we think its important for our team to be connected, and we will want to fly you to our office on a regular basis for training, meetings and check-ins.

- You go the extra mile to help people feel supported and valued. In addition to offering our community members year-round online support, youll organize an annual in-person meetup for our top contributors and look out for other opportunities to show them how much we appreciate them, like sending shirts, holiday cards, and stickers.
