Job description :

VMware Horizon View Architect who has experience (overall 8+ years, and 2+years of VDI architecture) with the following skills:
1. Able to architect and design VDI systems with VMware Horizon View 7 and associated VMware and third party components in Hybrid cloud model
2. Having experience in one of the cloud technologies like Azure is good
3. Experience with App Volumes (2, 4), App volumes creation and app stacking, writable volumes (Data/profiles)
4. Should be able to assess and plan for the migration of Citrix XenApp environment/workloads to Horizon View
5. Experience of using other Horizon stack/tools including:
VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi)
vROPs Operations management (Monitoring, troubleshooting and managing the health, capacity of VDI environment etc.)
DEM - User profile management
vIDM - VMware Identity Manager portal, desktops and apps publishing in workspace
UAG - VMware Unified Access Gateway for external access to workloads
6. Implementing new Horizon RDS Hosts with installed applications
7. Customer communications, flexibility, and ability to technically guide the team for the implementation
