Position: Sous Chef
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef in daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality.
- Prepare and execute menu items with precision and creativity.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate on menu development, introducing innovative and seasonal dishes.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Assist in the display, preparation, and packaging of retail food products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a gourmet or high-end food establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for food, creativity, and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
