Job Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and vehicles used in our business. This includes troubleshooting, diagnostics, and routine maintenance to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair engines, including those in equipment such as generators, compressors, pumps, and other construction-related machinery.
Diagnose and repair electrical and wiring problems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Order parts and supplies as needed and manage inventory of spare parts.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure equipment readiness and project timelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in engine repair are a plus.
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a construction or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanics and repair techniques.
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and make necessary repairs quickly and efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
