PROJECT: We are building a system for Client Tech Finance to track costs by department for hardware and software maintenance contracts, hardware and software purchases, and labor. This system will eliminate the need for tracking data in spreadsheets, will help ensure data quality by reducing manual input errors, help bring better visibility to costs by department, and streamline the quarterly budget forecasting process.
LOCATION: Remote during COVID. Were not sure exactly how policies may shake out, but Im guessing thered be some percentage of time expected to come into the office. It is likely that theyll be a split of work from home and in-office time.
IDEAL BACKGROUND: A finance/accounting background would be a bonus, but otherwise the skills listed are the most important.
LOCATION: Open to 100% remote.
TOP REQUIREMENTS:
- Development team leadership/management experience (5 years)
- TypeScript/JavaScript skills, ideally using Angular 7+ and Node.js 11+ (5 years)
- Strong SQL skills (5 years)

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
a. How many rounds? Probably only 1, but possibly 2 depending on the candidate pool.

c. How technical will the interviews be? Very. The interviews are with two of my colleagues and me. My colleagues probe deeply into the technical knowledge and experience of the candidate during these interviews.

"The Rainmakers" are focused on the development and support of financial-based applications used to support internal departments - 5 developers, 1 project manager/Scrum master

This is a DevOps role requiring the development and on-going maintenance of systems built on Angular 7.x+, Node.js 11.x+, C#, and SQL Server 2016+.
What skills/attributes are a must have?
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge
- Experience with Angular 2.x + and Node.js 8.x+
- Strong SQL skills, working with relational database platforms such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
