Analyst III or Sr (Corporate Social Responsibility)Date: Feb 18, 2024Location: New Orleans, Louisiana, United StatesCompany: EntergyPosting End Date: 12/11/2023Work Place Flexibility: HybridLegal Entity: Entergy Services, LLCThe preferred location for this position to be filled will be in Jackson, MS; however, other locations within Entergy's service territory may be considered.This position will be filled as an Analyst III or Analyst Sr, depending on the candidates qualifications.JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEThe Low-Income Customer Initiative Analyst works with Low-Income Customer Initiative director and corporate social responsibility vice president to lead continuous improvement, automation, targeted customer outreach and research that will increase the volume and flow of available assistance dollars and help empower Entergy’s low-income customers to achieve economic security. The role is responsible for developing strategies that will produce financial outcomes and overseeing progress towards goals.Four major areas of work define the Low-Income Customer Initiative functional area: 1) financial assistance, 2) economic empowerment, 3) customer care and outreach and 4) research and advocacy.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe Low-Income Customer Initiative Analyst is assigned larger portions of project work and provided with latitude to define scope and objectives of own analysis than an Analyst I or II in the job family. This role interfaces regularly with company leadership and has the skills and knowledge to represent the department’s management in internal and external meetings. Responsibilities for the position include:

Ascertains and archives customer demographics and economic trends to shape program opportunities.

Develops strategies to accomplish financial and programmatic goals. Develops robust, scenario-based forecasts of financial outcomes.

Uses analysis to develop program and policy recommendations to alleviate poverty in the service area, including alignment with related UNSDGs.

Works with management to establish Low-Income Customer Initiative goals and develop business plan strategies. Helps the department stay on task with goals using Agile and other innovation-based working methods, such as Scrum and Design Thinking.

Uses Agile and other innovation approaches to coordinate cross-functional teams supporting special projects for low-income customers.

Examines existing business practices, processes and tools and seeks continuous improvement to increase efficiency and productivity in all functional areas, but specifically relating to the financial assistance web portal, help desk operations and customer outreach.

Serves as the internal lead on IT enhancements of the portal and its interface with external users, as well as other system optimizations and novel application modules.

Works with Entergy’s robotic process automation team to create new data extraction and communication tools to help match low-income customers with available resources.

Leads research projects and works with contracted resources to develop reports that support Entergy’s public policy positions on poverty solutions.

Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to customer advocacy, energy affordability and corporate social responsibility work projects.

Provides leadership to junior analyst and other departmental team members related to quality control and reporting.

Provides support to management in shaping and executing engagement strategies for various internal and external stakeholders.

Works within the scope and framework of larger projects defined by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum education required of the positionBachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field preferred. Master's degree desired.Minimum experience required of the position

Analyst III: 4+ years of professional experience

Analyst Sr: 6+ years of professional experience

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Ability to collect and analyze data, summarize outcomes and pitch recommendations to senior leadership.

Expertise in change management, project management and innovation.

Outstanding oral and written communications skills.

Organized and results-oriented.

Ability to influence others and work in cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Power BI and other project management software such as Trello and Shibumi.
