Looking for a Part-Time Caregiver for My Dad in Diamondhead, MS (Starting June 2nd)
Hey Diamondhead Residents (and surrounding area)! I’m looking for a kind, compassionate, and reliable caregiver to help care for my dad 5 days a week, for about 2–4 hours a day (sometimes a little more). This will be a consistent role for at least 3 months.
What we’re needing help with:
Light housekeeping
Occasional rides to appointments (vehicle provided)
Basic physical assistance & hygiene (showering, brushing teeth, bathroom help)
Light meal prep
Encouragement with basic therapy exercises, hydration, and self-care
About My Dad:
My dad is a 62-year-old recovering from a major stroke that left him with significant weakness on his left side (hemiplegia). He needs help with basic mobility, daily hygiene, light exercises, and reminders to stay hydrated and take care of himself. He’s mentally sharp but needs gentle encouragement and consistent support to stay active in his recovery. We’re looking for someone who can connect with him, be patient, and help make each day a little easier.
We’d love someone who is gentle, patient, and empathetic — but also knows how to take charge when needed and can motivate my dad with kindness. Experience is a plus, but not necessary.
Must have your own transportation and be extremely dependable.
Pay is flexible (cash, 1099, etc.).
