Job Description
The Commercial Technician – HVAC/R will be working with routine maintenance team members to complete daily activities for the HVAC maintenance craft. This position will directly interface with Team Leads, other Mechanics, Reliability teams, Engineers, and Operations personnel across various areas of the Refinery and must develop a good working relationship with our stakeholders. Daily activities may include - field execution of work orders, identifying parts, troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, keeping equipment files up to date and EPA Compliance documentation. There are many tasks that include utilizing computer programs to track work progress and develop reports. This role will involve the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management Software system for workorder failure code entry, material check out etc. The mechanic reports to the HVAC Maintenance Team Lead on work status, work progress, any issues and steps taken to correct the issues.
