Tara City Construction of Houston, Texas is seeking a commercial project manager with 10 years of more experience in construction industry and at least 5 years or more in management or project management.
(Owners have been in different businesses for 38 years)
Must be able to pass a detailed clean Background and drug Test.
We have recently purchased 11 shopping centers all over Mississippi and one fully vacant 200,000 sq feet Sears building in Jackson MS.
We will build out Sears into multiple national tenants and we will be adding more square footage to existing buildings.
This is a long-term position with growth.
Scope of work:
Commercial Build outs
Day to day working with architect.
working with city for permits and Inspections.
working with sub-contractors.
Negotiating pricing with vendor for material and labor.
Reporting day to day to status to office.
Scheduling labor and trades.
purchasing equipment and maintain Inventory.
Traveling required all over Mississippi and out of state with prior notice.
AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT COMES ALONG WITH THE JOB!
Full time position with salary and benefits, Insurance, 401k and job by job completion bonuses.
Company truck and Gas card
In the beginning 6 days thereafter 5 days and on call if needed on weekends.
