Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled roofers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing roofs on residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work safely at heights. The Roofer will collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.
Duties:
Install roofing systems including shingled roofs.
Repair and replace damaged roofing sheathing.
Inspect roofs for leaks or other issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with roofing projects.
Fabricate components as needed for specific roofing applications.
Work with frame carpentry as required during roofing installations.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
Skills:
Proficient in various roofing techniques including all layers of a roof shingle installation process.
Strong ability to plumb structures accurately during installation processes.
Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks related to construction.
Ability to fabricate custom roofing components as needed for unique projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Must have Identification, Social Security Card and be a United States Citizen.
Must have Reliable Transportation.
Able to lift 50 lbs and be physically fit to perform the task specified above.
