Researches product and vendor information and prepares comprehensive clinical cost analysis that includes the impact on standard of care, financial operations, and the revenue cycle impact of recommended changes.
Collaborates with stakeholders to determine needs/wants relating to preference, supply, and services.
Assists with sourcing and gaining approval for alternate products when sustained issues arise with product availability or supplier services. Assists with maintaining documentation associated with approved alternates.
Assists Category Management with communicating and tracking product recalls and product substitutions

Performs, coordinates, and maintains data integrity; analyzes cost savings opportunities; and prepares analysis to present for critical decision making. Manipulates and evaluates data as it relates to the end user. Maintains records of approved/denied requests and implemented process improvement initiatives to document the outcomes.
Manages and prepares presentations. Supports Value Analysis RN Category Manager, Category Management staff, and various Value Analysis committees in identifying new or alternative sources of products, services or processes, to ensure maximum cost effectiveness.
Conducts and schedules meetings and/or presentations related to Value Analysis opportunities.
Coordinates educational programs related to products, services, and processes.
Assists with the management of products, services, and process related value analysis.
Assist Category Management with conversion processes. Works with appropriate stakeholders to investigate, monitor, and report, on compliance of implemented changes in products, services and processes.
Manages systems Value Analysis software and provides education related to software to stakeholders.
