CANDIDATES MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OLD AND SERIOUS ABOUT CARING FOR PETS!
We are a local pet care facility accepting applications from candidates passionate about animals (primarily dogs of all sizes and breeds). Our facility provides boarding, daycare, and dog grooming. We have no breed restrictions at our facility. The position is an ACTIVE AND PHYSICAL OUTSIDE JOB POSITION INVOLVING exercising, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after the guests, and keeping the facility clean. The duties of the position are completed constantly throughout each shift.
The ideal candidate WILL have the ability to do the following:
Follow instructions as given
Be dependable for shifts (personal vehicle is a must)
Have motivation and energy to play with many dogs while on shift
Have the ability to learn the different types of dogs and their habits
Ability to effectively communicate with staff and dogs
Situational awareness when on shift to prevent injuries
Move with SPEED and PURPOSE inside the facility when handling dogs
Weekends and holidays are necessary. Aversions to less-than-ideal weather, odd smells, loud sounds, cleaning messes, and getting dirty will disqualify candidates. Some candidates may be eligible to help with grooming. All candidates (at some point or another) will care for and walk the pets.
