We are now accepting resumes and work samples for local graphic designers for monthly newspapers in the Jackson Metro (Mississippi) area.
Designer will design ads for the papers, be responsible for the entire layout and design of the publications, and create flyers, promotions, in-house documents, or the like.
Job will require evening and weekend hours when the paper must be uploaded to the printer over a weekend.
Designer must be proficient in InDesign and have his/her own computer and reliable high-speed internet connection. Designer with significant newspaper or other page layout experience is preferred. Proficient time management skills and the ability to manage multiple elements at once without mistakes or missing deadlines is required. Attention to detail and good communication skills are necessary.
