Role: Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect
Location: Jackson, MS
Duration: 1 year
On-site only - but currently working remotely amid COVID-19
candidate must be local or relocate when it is safe.
Required Skills:
Experience developing IT solutions for a diverse set of clients and technology platforms, including cloud infrastructure, with an understanding of the wide array of tools/services available in the public cloud offerings
Experience in modern software engineering and modern design architecture
Experience with creating and maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures
Experience with and understanding of best practices in enterprise IT Functions: Application Development, Data Management, Infrastructure, Security and Project Management
Experience leading, managing or coordinating the development of the overall technical vision for IT solutions in the context of enterprise IT functions.
Experience in designing a successful cloud adoption strategy, including performance, security, and interoperability, while identifying technical and security risks and proposing mitigation strategies
Experience with state education agencies or in the K-12 education technology field - Desired
Experience with modernization of large-scale legacy applications- Desired
Experience with agile development and project methodologies- Desired
Knowledge and experience with Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) - Desired
