Pay: $19.25
Schedule: 8-5 M-F. Open for Overtime
Location: Flowood, MS
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining the property’s physical condition and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager, the technician will handle service requests, building systems, and general property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete maintenance requests and repairs promptly.
Maintain property grounds, including trash pickup, sweeping, and landscaping.
Perform electrical repairs (e.g., fixtures, outlets, light bulbs).
Handle plumbing tasks (e.g., leaks, unclogging drains, replacing hoses).
Perform painting, carpentry, and light masonry work.
Clean and maintain common areas (e.g., hallways, restrooms, parking lots).
Participate in training sessions as needed.
Monitor the property for hazards (e.g., pool gates, trip hazards).
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of maintenance experience (or related field).
HVAC Certification required.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting issues.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
