We are a storm contracting company that has been running a myriad of projects for the last 16 years. One of our long standing contracts is providing hospitality support to power restoration crews after major weather events. NOAA's 2024 "forecast for named storms, hurricanes and major hurricanes is the highest projection NOAA has ever issued for the May outlook." We are currently hauling trailers for Hurricane Helene from Jackson and all over the East Coast.
For this project our company runs basecamps for linemen and bucket truck crews during major power outages. These are remote yards setup immediately following a hurricane, ice storm, or derecho. We house, feed, and fuel our clients close to the affected areas so they can maximize their efficiencies to get people back to their normal lives. All of the equipment on these yards; bunk trailers, kitchens, shower trailers, generators, etc., have to be hauled in by pick up trucks. Once the storm is over, everything has to be hauled back to our equipment yards.
We are looking for people with trailer hauling experience. These affected areas can make for difficult driving conditions and requires competent drivers to get the job done. Also, time is of the essence and we need people to deliver the equipment quickly and safely.
A 3/4 ton or bigger truck is required. No 1/2 tons can be used due to safety requirements.
For those of you who do not have trailer hauling experience, or the required truck, we have other important positions in need of your skills.
If you are a leader and/or have management experience, we potentially would like to build a team around you and make you a core part of our operation. As a leader, you will also have the option to recruit, increasing your income opportunities. Do you have friends that would like to work with you?
If you are qualified and interested, please respond to this email so we can get you the details.
Thanks
