Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in our High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry-based clinic in Meridian, Idaho, United States. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our patients, managing their needs and ensuring a positive experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience and managing their needs Drive patient appointment scheduling and clinic revenue generation through outbound and follow-up calls to potential and existing patients Manage the administrative and operational functions of the clinic, including maintaining an accurate account of petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of patient data and appointments using our internal scheduling database software Handle patient insurance documentation and ensure compliance with current HIPAA laws Maintain hearing aid inventory in the clinic Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Keep the office patient-ready by managing office supply inventory as per company-approved lists Utilize CRM to track and manage patient interactions Use tools such as Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, and Dentrix Dental Software to facilitate daily tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, and Dentrix Dental Software is required. Demonstrable experience in managing Banner Ads and creating Charts - Graphs. Must have experience in handling Billing Functions and Benefit Functions. Ability to manage and authorise documents and procedures (Authorizations). Must possess excellent customer service skills, including Answering Inbound Calls. Familiarity with healthcare and pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Must have a customer-centric approach and an ability to handle patient queries effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Prior experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry would be a plus.
