The Episcopal Church of the Mediator is seeking a supply organist or pianist to provide music for our principal Sunday Eucharist at 10:30 a.m. This is a Sunday-only position without a long-term commitment, ideal for a student or a retired musician who would like to play in a traditional church setting.
Responsibilities include:
Playing a simple prelude and postlude each Sunday
Leading hymns and service music for a traditional Anglican liturgy
Providing simple accompaniment for a cantor as needed
Consulting briefly with clergy or music lead during the week by email or phone
Compensation:
Starting pay is $200 per service
Additional compensation is available for feast days, weddings, and funerals
