Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions Unload grain and grain by-products from trucks. Opening gates and doors on  trucks  Maintain a clean and safe work environment and facility Must be able to distinguish different products and report any abnormities to supervisor Be able to work a combination of 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts consisting of days, nights & weekends. Work is physically demanding, dirty and exposed to outside elements  Follow instructions of Superintendent, Assistant or Lead  Follow all LDC safety rules and procedures Must have adequate knowledge of all SHE policies Responsible for a clean work area, clean facility and general maintenance (housekeeping) Must wear all required PPE for the jobs being performed Assist in all areas of the facility as needed Must be able to perform all barge/deck hand duties in a safe manner Must have adequate knowledge with the Compuweigh scale system  Ability to grade grain accurately  Must be able to accurately probe loaded commodity trucks Must be able to operate all control room functions – Navigate grain to the specified locations Must be able to operate bin sweeps in all grain tanks Must be able to operate the grain dryer efficiently and effectively to reach the targeted moisture Company Conformance Statements In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following: Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with co-workers, Company business associates and the general public. Work together in a cooperative spirit to serve the best interests of the Company. Operate in a fully responsible manner and comply with the law and Company policy.
