Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in St. Louis, MO.What you will be working on:As a Systems Administrator, you will:
Develop technical solutions for the management of software, hardware, configurations, and architecture. Provide interpretation to systems matters that are moderately complex in nature.
Provide troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex.
Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software. May train large groups of end users.
Perform advanced software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Apply advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Provide guidance to less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implementation of standard software and hardware solutions.
Lead complex data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
Conduct advanced to complex hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Serve as a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically through advanced education and work experience. Manage large projects with limited oversight from the manager.
Evaluate and assess existing systems and plan long-term strategies.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
May serve as a team or task leader (not a people manager).
Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop-related tasks.
Maintain advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
Apply extensive technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines.
What you will bring to us (Must):
BA/BS (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience.
Professional certification in one or more relevant technologies.
A candidate should have current VMware and Dell server experience in their current job or within the last 2 years.
What you will bring to us (Highly Desired):
Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
Experience with System Center Virtual Machine Manager/VMware vCenter 6.7.
Knowledge of Home Directory and Profile management Support Services.
Experience with Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.
Proficiency in systems enginee ing principles, methods, and techniques.
Knowledge of the current industry hardware, software, and equipment.
Experience with Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016.
Unix/Linux familiarity.
Experience with Windows 10/11.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Local Area Networking, AD, GPO.
