Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced F-15 Real Time Software Engineer and Scrum Master to join the F-15 Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The Mission Systems Software Team develops real-time embedded Operational Flight Program (OFP) software that resides in F-15 mission computer. The software written by this team enables the F-15 aircraft’s mission capability by interfacing with multiple avionics subsystems (radar, weapons, sensors, etc.) and by implementing algorithms and developing the crew vehicle interface displays. The team is responsible for the design, code implementation, and the various levels of testing of the OFP software as well as supporting the development of the system and subsystem requirements.Position Responsibilities:

Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems

Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system

Assists with software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

Support continuous integration and testing efforts

Supports software project management

Performs software research and trade studies

Troubleshoots software issues

Guides team to adhere to best agile processes, supports team sprint execution, works with product owners, product managers and other agile leaders to maintain team performance

Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

3+ years’ experience with C, C, C#, Python, Java or Ada

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in fixed wing fighter aircraft software development

Experience in Real-Time Embedded Software Development

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: object-oriented software development; leading using the Agile Software Development or SAFe paradigm; Ada, C/C, Python, GIT, JIRA, BitBucket, VxWorks, OpenGL and DOORS.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standardRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
