HRDC also has a "Wellness Hours Policy" which encourages full-time staff to use up to 4 paid hours weekly to work on their wellness.Wage:$24.00/hourPrimary Work Location:This position will operate out of HRDC Market Place in Bozeman; However, time will be spent in various locations including but not limited to: HRDC IX Warming Center, Bozeman School District high schools, and Helena.Summary:The Case Manager, Youth is an integral part of the Customer Support team and is responsible for supporting the delivery of case management for 14-26-year-olds. This position focuses on educational, career exploration, and housing navigation support for youth. The Case Manager collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and community agencies to ensure customers receive comprehensive, trauma-informed support while strongly focusing on equity, confidentiality, and client autonomy. This position will work across multiple agency locations and partnering agencies.Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:This position has the following duties and responsibilities. They are listed starting with the most important. The percentage at the end of each statement estimates the time spent on each duty.
Customer Support/Assessment of Need (65%)
Working with the Case Management Lead and Customer Support team to determine appropriate program placements and referrals for customers; informs customers of available services and resources; coordinates and supports customer’s access to services and benefits.
Youth Empowerment & Engagement (15%)
Engage youth in shaping their futures by setting goals, supporting freedom, and promoting choices for achieving independence and self-sufficiency.
Program Eligibility (10%)
Collaborates with Compliance Specialists to determine program eligibility and benefit levels by identifying and requesting the necessary documentation. Accurately calculates household income and benefits, assesses household status, and processes changes per the requirements of various funding sources.
Teamwork (5%)
This role collaborates closely with all agency programs, including the compliance department, to uphold best practice standards in case management.
Training and Development (5%)
Engages in ongoing training opportunities on best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Program Philosophy and Service Delivery:

Ability to interpret a variety of program manuals, guidelines, and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Social Services/Education or related field, from a four-year college or university preferred OR comparable life/work experience

The incumbent’s work is primarily assigned by daily workflow and operations
The incumbent is authorized to make decisions as to the timing and sequence of work and the work is performed according to established policies and procedures and/or within applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the tasks being performed

Responsible for data entry for payable claims with proper coding according to eligibility requirements
