Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Section 8 (LIHTC & NHTF layered) property located in Columbia, MO. Operations include (but aren't limited to) facilities management, property maintenance, and data reporting to regional office.
- Hours range from 15-20 per week
- Perform data entry, maintain accurate records and files as well as correspond with regional office via Outlook on a regular basis.
- Provide support to regional office in obtaining tenant's legal documents in compliance with Section 8 HUD regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as tenant applications, rent collection, coordinate maintenance requests and unit turnovers, minor tenant complaints, etc.
- Ensure compliance with fair housing regulations and HUD regulations as well as other relevant laws.
Experience/Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Soft skills in property management setting
- Knowledge of Project-Based Section 8/HUD, LIHTC, HOME, fair housing regulations
