Qualified candidates will have previous experience in an upscale setting. Previous experience includes proper table etiquette and knowledge of food and beverages. Servers are expected to provide members with dining & banquet service, clearing & resetting tables and rooms. The Full-time Server position will provide service to our dining room and banquet facilities. Responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
Uphold the highest level of service for our Members and their guests
Maintain a friendly and open attitude for all Members and staff alike
Must have some daytime availability and be available to work most weekends and holidays
Must be able to effectively multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, keep organized, and work under pressure
Setup, maintain, and break down an array of banquet functions, including working with Linens, china, silverware, glassware, server stations, banquet service items, etc.
Greets Members and guides them through service. Understands steps of service for all banquet and a la carte events
Maintains "Sense of Urgency" when on and off the floor
Ensures proper storage of all banquet and food items
Works as a "Team" with both Banquet and Dining Room staff, to anticipate and go above and beyond for our Members. Helps team reach common goals.
Previous fine dining or country club dining experience preferred
Ability to move and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
Communicates any additional changes to Food and Beverage Manager and back of house leader as needed.
Adherence to set quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards
Have detailed knowledge of our menus
Must understand and oblige by restaurant health and safety rules
Must obtain Boone County food handler's certification
