A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping machines operating properly and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. You will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks on cleaning equipment through out the company. Lots of traveling could be involved to deliver and pick up machines. Some other tasks may include:
Performing routine maintenance on equipment such as vaccums, scrubbers, buffers, ect.
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed
Requires a diverse mix of both hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor skills
Manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs to prevent and resolve issues to equipment
Delivery and pick up of Equipment. Some drive times can be long distance
Service Technicians may oversee multiple sites that house equipment or spend their time dedicated to working on machines at a shop in Columbia, MO. You may have to work flexible hours responding to emergencies when necessary as well as completing scheduled maintenance.
