We are looking for Quality Assurance Specialists. You will be responsible for inspecting products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing timely feedback to supervisors. This includes monitoring production for defects and verifying sample accuracy.
Schedules offered: 3pm-11pm shift and 11pm-7am with OT as required
A qualified Quality Assurance Specialist will be able to the perform the following tasks:
Conduct hourly rounds to presses, stitchers and binders.
Inspect products for defects in accordance with company standards.
Document findings on Quality Audit Forms and provide “Approval to Bind” when applicable.
Maintain Job Bag Library including adding, organizing and purging according to company retention policy.
Monitor and verify the quality and quantity of customer samples during production.
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Maintain consistent, prompt, and reliable attendance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
Detail-oriented and quality-minded, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
Knowledge of press and bindery preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand job tickets and job layouts is a plus.
Proficient in reading and using a standard ruler for measurements.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Capable of bending, stooping, and performing other physical tasks as required.
Demonstrates assertiveness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
