IT Demand Analyst II

As a diversified, national organization, Centene's technology professionals have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose:Assists the business stakeholders in driving a demand generation plan, with pipeline build strategies and development of scale initiatives (in both Waterfall and Agile environments). Ensures all demand for approved projects (and enhancements) is gathered, executed, and managed efficiently and effectively across the enterprise. Focuses on both funding and prioritizing individual projects as well as investing in the full scope of products and value the company wants to deliver to its customers.

Works internally across the organization to understand and document current and future demand for supported services; provides demand forecasts to leadership.

Correlates IT spending to the value of the services utilized by the organization.

Identifies gaps and misalignment between current and forecasted demand on current or new systems/services/staff.

Collaborates with the IT management team to develop project charts, visualities, and reports for fully qualified and approved demand.

Analyze demand data to identify and report on trends.

Measure forecast accuracy and aid in root cause analysis behind forecast variances; aid in lessons learned and corrective actions.

Collaborates with requirements stakeholders to develop business case analysis of projects, services and tools.

Reviews business case for new projects including expected project returns (e.g., ROI, IRR).

Specific focus on:

Auditing / Quality Control on SOWs, procurements, resource plans, and cost plans.

Labor and Headcount Accounting

Portfolio Review Board Facilitator

Demand Management (Projects, SOWs, HW/SW Procurements, and Resources)

Performs other duties as assigned.

Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 – 4 years of related experience.Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Soft Skills:

Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty

Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Intermediate - Ability to work independently

Pay Range: $72,400.00 - $130,100.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
