Weare always looking for quality individuals to add to our team.Long Story Short:This position at our downtown Jefferson City location, coordinates the shipment of finished printed products to ensure on-time delivery. Provides information to other company employees, customers, and collaborating organizations.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure delivery is as efficient and safe as possible.
The role includes working with others in the company and various carriers to provide the highest level of customer service.
Must enter data into a computer program to record time, materials and costs of shipping.
Job Requirements:
Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail.
Must be able to read and understand a job ticket.
Must have a good work and attendance record.
Must take reasonable care of companyproperty and equipment.
Occasionally instructs and assists other employees or makes work assignments to others concerning shipping or delivery as directed by a supervisor.
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
Appreciable physical effort or strain. Moderately heavy lifting (60 lbs), pulling, and pushing activity.
May include reaching, stooping, and standing (8 hours).
