Wage/Salary:
Qualified Automotive technicians $18-30$ per flat rate hour based on experience and European qualifications
Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic maintenance and repairs on all vehicles
Performing electrical and driveability diagnostics
Occasional heavy line repair.
Keeping work bays clean and clear of debris
Assisting and working with other Technicians
Working as an experienced technician diagnostic ability on German and European vehicles is required. Training will be provided for those that qualify.
Using vehicle diagnostic equipment - Jbox, Modis, Tech2, Vagcom, Autologic, IDS
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years automotive repair experience for entry level.
18 years of age or older
Valid drivers license and clear driving record
ASE certifications - Autohaus will provide ASE testing
Strong computer and electronic knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Customer service oriented
Hand tools and toolbox
Desire to learn and continue automotive education through ongoing training programs
Autohaus is a family owned and operated independent repair facility. We have been in Joplin for over 20 years. We specialize in BMW, VW, Mercedes, Jaguar repairs. We also service and repair all other makes and models. Our services include, but are not limited to: Basic maintenance, engine replacements, transmission replacements, driveabilty diagnostics, evaporative emissions repair, brakes and suspension, alignments, exhaust repair, fuel systems, and interior and exterior electrical systems.
