Part-time Assistant Property Manager
Central Self Storage is seeking an energetic, experienced, sales and customer service person to fill an assistant property manager role in Olathe, KS. Under the direction of the property manager you will be the face of our company; responsible for the daily operations of the property.
As an assistant manager you will provide efficient, knowledgeable customer service and sales to all existing and potential tenants as well as vendors. Projecting an inviting, professional demeanor is essential to driving sales and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties (not limited to):
- Sales including lead follow-up via phone and email
- Providing red carpetĀ customer service to all customers
- Data entry
- Handling of sensitive information
- Payment processing through CRM/POS system
- Project management including sourcing vendors, providing scopes of work, collecting bids, scheduling, overseeing work in progress, and invoice processing
- Managing delinquent accounts including collections and auctions
- Daily lock checks and weekly walk-through's to ensure property is secure
- Daily reporting
- Enforcement of policies and procedures
- Deposits including making bank runs
- Inventory management including merchandising and ordering
- Creating, tracking, and completing assigned tasks through StoreTracker and CRM programs
- Addressing tenant concerns/complaints
- Competitor market surveys
- Marketing by advertising on Craigslist and visiting potential businesses to bring in new leads
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in outside or inside sales
- Minimum 2 yrs experience in retail or customer service
- Proficient with PC including MS Office, internet, typing
- Must have valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle
- Must pass a criminal background, credit, and SSNV check
- HS diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
Compensation:
- Major holidays off
- Flexible schedule (approx. 24 hrs/week), no nights or Sundays
- $12-$14/hour plus bonus potential
- $25 monthly auto allowance
