SST is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Coordinator to work in New Century, KS.
Length of Assignment: Temporary 3 months
Travel: No, this position is for locals who can commute daily to New Century, KS
Pay: 60-70 per hour
Shift: 7am - 330pm
Hours: Typically 40 with OT always a possibility
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret specifications, plans, and resource documents to determine requirements and planning procedures as outlined.
Document and update appropriate logs.
Conduct, attend, and participate in project meetings.
Obtain, review, and submit required submittals and maintain submittal register.
Coordinate Three Phase of Control plan Preparatory, Initial and Final Phases.
Maintain quality control by frequent and regular inspection of work and work-in-progress.
Complete all reports and records in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain an orderly and clean presence on the jobsite.
Complete job close-out procedures.
Manage RMS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of construction experience doing tenant improvement/renovations
Working knowledge of field construction including systems, practices, general engineering principals and construction techniques, materials, methods, and sequencing.
Detailed experience with quality control systems.
Experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
Strong work ethic with a passion to fulfill commitments.
Sincere obligation to client satisfaction.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and conflict management skills.
Experience as QC Manager or field management experience.
Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers.
MS Office Suite and Bluebeam knowledge and good computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
USACE Experience
Has worked in RMS
USACE- CQM-C Certificate
