Mission
The mission of the Dance and Tumbling Instructor role is to provide high-quality instruction, guidance, and inspiration to students, fostering their love for dance and tumbling and helping them achieve their goals at Shapes Dance and Acro Studio.
Results to Be Generated:
1. Deliver engaging and effective dance and tumbling classes that inspire and challenge students.
2. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes growth and development.
3. Cultivate a sense of community and belonging among students, parents, and fellow instructors.
Skills:
- Dance Technique- currently hiring for preschool dance instructors, advanced ballet and jazz technique instructors.
- Tumbling Technique- currently hiring for tumbling instructors for recreational and competitive students who have a background in safety and tumbling technique.
- Communication Skills- applicants must be skilled and willing to speak with parents in order to build trusting relationships.
- Patience and Empathy- understand the unique strengths of every student that walks through our studio door and is willing to foster a caring, consistent and structured experience through instruction.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engaging and age-appropriate dance and tumbling classes.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students to support their progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes and studio activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow instructors.
- Collaborate with the studio management team to support studio initiatives and events.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in dance and tumbling instruction.
