Kumon of Leawood, located at 3626 W. 135th St. Suite D203, is currently seeking part-time graders and teaching assistants who enjoy working with children K-12 in a classroom setting. You will be responsible for guiding and assisting our students through the Kumon program. This position will lead to additional growth opportunities and is a perfect job for students considering a career in the childcare/education field. Being a former Kumon student is a plus in getting this position. The position starts at the end of May. Apply now to be contacted for an interview.
Responsibilities:
Accurately grade students' completed Math and Reading worksheets
Assist students using the Kumon Method of instruction
Work in a friendly, team environment to help make class a success
Assist in clerical work, preparing for class, data entry, reception work and clean-up
Training provided
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Requirements :
Positive attitude and passion for working with children
Strong Math and Reading skills (a short test will be administered)
Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability
Work well in a team setting through excellent communication and high work ethic
Prior Kumon experience preferred
Must pass a background check
Working hours
Tuesday 3:30 -7:30
Friday 3:30-7:30
Salary: $8 -10 /Hr. (Based on experience)
