DescriptionRobert Half Finance has a first-rate opportunity for a full-time Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company in the Financial Services industry. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks and expense reports. Within this dynamic department, you will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Kansas City, Missouri area and is a full-time employment.Major responsibilities
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Perform special projects as assigned
Help with internal and external audits as required
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Requirements
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
