Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Billing Clerk in the service industry, based in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. You will be a crucial part of our team, handling a variety of responsibilities related to customer credit applications, customer records, and customer inquiries. Responsibilities Efficiently manage customer credit applications and process them with precision. Maintain the integrity of customer credit records and ensure they are up-to-date. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Provide administrative support to project management, including attending project meetings and performing tasks related to change orders, shop drawings, and material tracking. Coordinate the turnover of projects from estimating to operations. Organize and maintain the construction project filing system on the server. Process and execute necessary permits required for construction projects. Handle contract change orders and subcontract change orders. Manage purchase orders and direct owner purchases. Oversee the project close-out process. Assist with onboarding and training procedures. Maintain all Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for all departments. Handle license renewals and print reports requested by project managers. Utilize various accounting software systems, including ADP - Financial Services, Computerized Billing, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and About Time, to perform accounting functions and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries effectively. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role in the Service industry Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Demonstrable experience with Computerized Billing and EHR SYSTEM Familiarity with Epic Software and About Time software is necessary Must possess a strong understanding of Accounting Functions Proven experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Skilled in Answering Inbound Calls, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
