Assists the Director in maintaining nursing standards and supporting competent practice of unit staff. Supports quality, safe patient care, efficient operations and personnel needs while assuring a high degree of customer service, evidence based practice, and responsible stewardship of resources.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or the equivalent in a combination of an ADN and years of relevant experience
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required and/or demonstrated proficient to expert clinical aptitude and leadership.
Missouri nursing license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
Current certifications per department requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
Ability to lead groups
