Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Field Technician I to join the Building and Construction team in Kansas City, KS for one of the leading total quality assurance providers worldwide. The Field Technician I will perform a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under direct supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. Ideal candidates should possess a great work ethic, willingness to learn from the ground up, and desire to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction industry. Specialized training will be provided.Performs a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under limited supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.Operates testing equipment and conducts testing, (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provides assessment of data through reportingWorks utilizing drawings, specifications and diagramsUses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasksReads and Interprets Plans and SpecificationsMaintains and calibrates standard equipmentSupervises and performs complex assignments and work tasksMaintains detailed documentation and data from test resultsOperates a calculator to calculate mathematical test resultsCommunicates effectively with client and project teamsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
