With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails performing a wide variety of accounting and finance functions including the following: general ledger accounting, weekly/monthly/annual close, account reconciliations, fixed asset reporting, and other special projects.What You’ll Do:
Assists in weekly, monthly, and annual close processing; process journal entries, general ledger/account analysis, and reconciling bank statements.
Receives, researches and resolves a variety of internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
Prepares and/or reviews monthly reconciliations.Anticipates process improvement opportunities and implements improvements and internal control enhancements as appropriate.
Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
Assists in other special projects (i.e., internal control, implementation, upgrades, and process improvements) that arise throughout the year.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Associate's degree in Accounting
4 years accounting experience
In lieu of education, 6 years accounting experience
What We Prefer:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
