Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity (December to March) for a Dispatcher in the HVAC industry, based in Kansas City, Kansas. In this role, you will be the linchpin in maintaining smooth communication between customers, technicians, and service management, ensuring that all customer inquiries and service requests are addressed effectively and promptly. Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, ON-SITEResponsibilities Efficiently coordinate service requests and work schedules, dispatching workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles as necessary. Act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, addressing questions, problems, or requests for service or equipment. Use various communication tools, including radios and telephones, to relay work orders and messages to work crews and supervisors. Regularly check in with technicians, providing them with updates regarding service calls and ensuring effective communication of all necessary information. Coordinate scheduling with customers, technicians, and other projects to optimize customer satisfaction, considering factors such as urgency, parts availability, and manpower. Create detailed work orders based on customer communications and review service jobs and projects to determine completion time frames, necessary tools and materials, and manpower requirements. Continuously manage the dispatch board, checking all open calls and dispatching accordingly. Review technicians' work orders to identify opportunities for additional repairs or equipment quotes, and address warranty issues. Escalate critical and/or sensitive issues to the appropriate authority with recommendations for resolution.
