Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 6+ years of experience to support Water/Wastewater projects. This position is available in multiple markets, including Southern California, Northern California, Florida (Coral Springs, West Palm Beach, Orlando, or Miami), Denver, or Phoenix. Ideal candidates will have a experience in water/wastewater, but we are also open to candidates from industrial or large commercial backgrounds (excluding retail, restaurants, homes, multifamily, offices, TI). Candidates with water/wastewater experience who have a stable job history may be considered for a fully remote position, regardless of location. Will consider candidates from different industries without water/wastewater experience if they live near an office in one of the markets listed above, and have a strong understanding of NEC.Responsibilities
Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision by a Sr. Level Electrical Engineer
Perform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation
Qualifications
6 to 12 years experience working in Electrical Engineering
PE registration required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor
Field investigative and start-up experience
Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC
Familiarity with the IEEE color book series
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
Have the ability to interact positively with clients

The role involves minimal travel (5-10%), mainly for deliverable submissions and workshops lasting 1-2 days. Flexible work hours are offers, with working hours between 7 am and 6 pm. The team consists of 45 electrical professionals across the country.
