In this role, the Switchyard Driver will be responsible for transporting waste and hazardous materials to and from the TSDF, 10-day and Transportation garage, in compliance with proper procedures and all applicable regulations.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Transport waste between the TSDF, 10-day and Transportation garage using the following equipment: tractor, trailer, tanker, roll off frame, box van. Perform warehouse related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials, and general facility duties. Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery, routing documents or supervisor’s guidance. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests. Operate a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment. Performs various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle, placarding and load securement. Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
