Job Summary:
Property Plus Construction is seeking experienced painters for remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for prepping surfaces, applying paint and ensuring all jobs meet our quality standards. Our projects focus on affordable housing and property modernization, so reliability and professionalism are key.Responsibilities:
Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping and using sandpaper, removing old paint and washing walls.
Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including wood, metal, and drywall.
Fill cracks, holes and joints with putty, plaster and other fillings.
Clean up and protect work areas before and after jobs.
Match paints and finishes according to specifications.
Collaborate with other construction professionals as needed.
Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a painter (2+ years of experience preferred)
Familiarity with various paints, finishes and application techniques.
Ability to handle physical workload and stand for long periods of time.
Excellent attention to detail.
Reliable transportation and ability to work at various work sites.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with remodeling or renovation projects is a plus.
