Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the legal industry, located in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, for a Paralegal. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting attorneys with numerous tasks related to real estate and corporate law. This includes preparing legal documents, managing legal files, and assisting with the organization of corporate and real estate transactions.Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of a variety of real estate, loan, and construction documents including agreements, leases, and basic construction contracts. Prepare deeds, easements, affidavits, closing certificates, entitlements, and escrow instructions. Organize and maintain legal files, both paper and electronic, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Assist attorneys with the organization of real estate transactions and corporate closings. Proo legal documents for accuracy and ensure they are consistent with relevant laws and regulations. Assist attorneys with corporate formations, organizational documents, and filings. Work closely with attorneys to support a wide range of real estate transactions and projects. Record deeds electronically where possible, and manually when necessary. Manage closing schedules and ensure all relevant deadlines are met. Multitask and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines and client needs. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal Proficient in using Case Management Software Proven experience in briefing and compiling documents Expertise in calendar management and effective communication Familiarity with Corporate ParaLegal duties Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion Skills in drafting legal documents, including deeds and escrow Knowledge of Real Estate Law and Corporate Real Estate Proficient in prooing and record keeping Experience in maintaining Corporate Minute Books Capability to adhere to corporate legal protocols.
