Job Title: Fitter- Per DiemJob DescriptionPerform all functions in complex fit-up and proficient in the set-up and operation of the plate forming roll machine and brake machine.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Entry capabilities of performing fit-up operations with good quality and production time.
Qualified to weld with one basic weld procedure in FCAW, SMAW and one alloy as a minimum.
Proficient in all levels of fit-up with good quality and production time.
Qualified to weld with the basic weld procedures as a minimum FCAW, SMA-2G, 3-G and one alloy procedure.
Qualified to set-up and operate tube expanding and other production tooling.
Qualified to accurately tape O.D. of cylinders and segments using a diameter tape and measure radius/diameters to conform to code requirements.
Capable of calculating circumferences utilizing the constant of pi 3.1416.
Skillfully proficient in the operation of plate or break forming.
Skillfully advanced in all levels of fit-up operations of complex production assemblies with good quality and production time.
Qualified to weld in the basic weld procedure FCA, GMA-2G, 3G, 4G, two alloys and 5-GTA procedure.
Skillful in the set-up and operation of tube expansion equipment and other related fabrication tooling with the ability to resolve problems with minimal supervision.

Voluntary overtime depending on the workload of the week.Shop environment. Around 130 total shop employees.
