We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations.Job DescriptionThe Perinatal Registered nurse provides services in all area settings; Triage, Antepartum, Labor, Delivery, and Recovery. Performs assessments based on the patient’s presentation, medical condition and care needs. Utilizes the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate and evaluate the delivery of nursing care in the Perinatal Services department. The Registered Nurse provides mentoring, and guidance to Clinical RNs new to the Perinatal Services department and is engaged in department orientation and skills training and testing. Other duties include interdisciplinary team involvement, committees, program evaluation, research, education and the supervision of students. Performs duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements.Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program

Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse or eligible for Missouri RN licensure.

Current BLS and ACLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

RN Specialty Certification

Possesses current training in Fetal Monitoring, AWOHN Advanced Fetal monitoring, Triage and NRP.
