Compensation RangeHourly: $22.60 - $30.30 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to perform first line of defense quality assurance, testing, and monitoring assessments for the Consumer Servicing lines of business.Essential Functions

Assess the effectiveness of control activities performed in the business units related to Consumer Servicing

Conduct transaction testing, quality assurance, and monitoring assessments to validate internal controls, operations, and administrative functions

Participate in meetings with business units, individually or in a group, to identify gaps within current practices and operational and/or regulatory requirements

Document workpapers thoroughly and summarize results

Draft, review, and summarize findings to management in a timely manner and coordinate follow-up activities to verify findings are corrected

Assist with other special projects, as assigned

Perform duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Familiarity with banking and compliance regulations, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in these areas

Ability to understand processes and systems

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

2+ years compliance, business, risk, or audit experience required

Banking experience, specifically in the credit card, direct and indirect lending business preferred

SHAW, TSYS, FICO Debt Manager systems experience preferred

For Level II role: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) certification preferred

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $22.60 to $30.30 per hour.
