Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous and organized Risk Manager in Kansas City, Missouri. The Risk Manager will be a crucial part of our team, working within the shared services industry. Your primary responsibilities will include processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing customer credit inquiries. This role also requires the monitoring of customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Process and handle customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records. Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner. Monitor customer credit accounts regularly. Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments. Collaborate with the shared services team to ensure smooth operations. Utilize risk management skills to identify and manage potential risks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards in the management of credit records. Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of credit processing. Collaborate with other departments to resolve credit related issues. Requirements Must have proven experience in a Risk Management role Strong understanding of shared services model Advanced skills in risk identification and assessment Proficient in risk mitigation strategies and implementation Excellent understanding of risk analysis and predictive models Ability to develop risk management policies and protocols Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with data analysis and statistical software Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Relevant professional certification, such as FRM or CRM, is desirable Excellent decision-making abilities under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
