Job Description: Training InstructorPosition Overview:Looking for a Training Instructor to contribute to a special project starting 12/30/2024 and ending 06/29/2025. This position is based out of Kansas City, MO, or Shreveport, LA, with frequent travel required. Position Purpose: As a Training Instructor, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the needs of locomotive facility staff. Your expertise will ensure employees are equipped with the skills necessary to operate effectively within a transnational railway network.Key Responsibilities:

Assess individual and group training needs.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging training sessions.

Teach staff to use key computer applications, including LMUI, Nexus, SAP, and RPM.

Develop course curriculum and organize training schedules.

Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions.

Monitor employee progress and provide constructive feedback.

Report training progress to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Solid understanding of locomotive operations.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership capabilities.

Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience creating and presenting reports for senior management.

Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Patience, friendliness, and the ability to motivate others.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience delivering training in industrial or factory settings.

Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (read, write, and speak).

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to travel 50–75% of the time, including extended trips of up to two weeks.

Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
