Nick The Greek in Olathe, KS is looking for one assistant manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.Nick the Greek - Job DescriptionJob Title: Assistant Store Manager (30-40 hours per week)Summary: Responsible for assisting in the supervision and for performing all functions relating to the effective operation of the restaurant by performing the following duties. This includes days where we will want you to open or close the store and prep the front of house for the following day.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides exceptional customer service by knowledge of the menu and a friendly attitude Resolves customer and/or employee problems or complaints in a timely manner. Assists with stocking inventory as required. Oversees and monitors the expo of food from the kitchen staff to the customer Controls and counts all charge and cash purchases at the end of each meal period. Owns the cleanliness of the front lobby, counter and restrooms. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Orientates new employees and provides initial on-the-job training. Oversees training functions of the staff. Assists in establishing and controlling the weekly work schedule for staff. Clearly communicates with the store manager on needs of the restaurant
